Yoga Therapy

Comfort in the Body & Mind

Yoga Pose

Yoga Therapy uses the adaptation and application of yoga techniques and practices to help individuals with health challenges of any level manage their condition. It treats the whole person and cultivates attitudes and actions that support the natural healing process.

Yoga therapy adapts the practice of yoga to the needs of people with health problems not usually addressed in a group class. It is appropriate for all individuals and addresses a wide range of physical and mental health issues.

What to Expect at a Yoga Therapy Session

The initial 90-minute yoga therapy session includes a Movement and Postural Assessment, a detailed Holistic Health Intake, and Ayurvedic Protocols such as pulse assessment. Together, we will set some goals and then create a routine specifically designed to fit your mental, emotional and physical needs.

In the 75-minute follow-up sessions, Lisa will monitor your progress and make modifications to the practice as necessary to continue moving toward your desired goals. The number of follow-ups needed depends on what type of issues we are working on, adhering to the practice regularly, and how you respond.

Please note prices are for in-studio sessions. Private in-home sessions are a different fee structure. Inquire for details.
